Jordan Almonds, or as Greeks call them, Koufeta, are great for making your own party favors or for snacking. At Grecian Imports, we pride ourselves on manufacturing the best and freshest Jordan Almonds available anywhere, Grecian Imports Brand, and we sell them at very competetive prices. What makes our Jordan Almonds better? Honesty about what you are getting. Take a look at the alternate image above. Most vendors who sell Jordan Almonds (online or in stores) never disclose to their customers what grade of Jordan Almonds they are purchasing. Most of them sell low grade almonds (some much lower grade than what we show here) and are seemingly an extrememly good value. However, beware, there is never a substitute for quality, especially when you plan on eating the Jordan Almonds you purchase. Since we have been selling Jordan Almonds for almost 36 years now and sell large quantities, our almonds are always fresh, and never sit on our shelves for more than a couple months. As you can see from the cross section photos above, there is a huge difference. Our Extra Fine Jordan Almonds feature a good quality almond with a medium amount of candy coating. The Extra fine grade is a good comprimise between price and quality. Lower grade Jordan Almonds have a more rounded shape, smaller low grade almonds, and much more candy coating. Ironically, the higher quality almonds are not only better for eating, they also yield a higher count per pound than the lower grades since almonds weigh less than candy (yields about 125 pieces per pound). If you know that the almonds will be eaten, we may suggest moving up to the Super Fine grade. If you think they won't be eaten at all, the Fine grade may be just the thing.
